Membership Categories and Qualifications
Regular Membership
Researchers in the fields of agricultural and forestry issues, and related fields.
Student Membership
Student Membership is available to regular members who are currently enrolled as undergraduate or graduate students at a university, graduate school, or equivalent institution.
※ Please note: Graduate students who are working professionals with regular employment are not eligible for Student Membership.
Senior Membership
Regular members aged 65 or older may, upon request, become either a Senior Member (annual fee: ¥5,000) or a Lifetime Member by making a lump-sum prepayment of ¥100,000.
Supporting Membership
This category is for organizations that support the objectives of the Society and aim to promote its activities, such as research and surveys.
Honorary Member
Honorary Member is a title conferred on individuals who have made exceptionally outstanding contributions to the development of the Society.
Individuals who have been awarded this honor will be designated as "Lifetime Regular Members (Senior Members) with the title of Honorary Member."
